UPS's main hub is in Kentucky.

The way I think it works is that, international parcels/packages would be sent to their main hub in Kentucky. The parcels/packages are then sorted and sent to smaller depots like the one at YVR.

Depending on the type of shipping you purchased, they may air ship to Canada, or in your case by truck. Don't worry I had to deal with the same shipping route when I ordered from Apple.

ups is terrible, package arrived 3 days after its original delivery date and their deliverer also knocked on my door litereally twice just simple "knock knock" good thing i was right by the door or else he would have drove off :/

my fedex tracking was slightly iffy, but not like that.

the customs work started in richmond before it even left hong kong but it kept going back and forth until it finally arrived

They don't ship door to door. They go thru hubs.

Was supposed to be delivered today by 12PM. Found out earlier it fucking went from Richmond to Memphis, and the estimated delivery date is gone.

Fucking FedEx.

same sorta thing happened to me too. with UPS too

shortshifter was being shipped to richmond from quebec. shipment lands in richmond depot. gets sent out for delivery in the morning @ 7am. i wait around all day for it, nothing. i call UPS at 6pm and inquire. they suggest i wait until 7pm, as that is when drivers deliver until

i wait until 7pm. still nothing. call again. UPS agent says sometimes drivers are late with their deliveries and deliver until 8pm. i'm like :okay: so i wait til 8. nothing shows (but i could've told you that'd happen before i even started waiting after 7)

i call again. obviously nobody picks up because they're closed. i call and ask the next day, repeat above for the entire day. at this point i'm pissed, and i was being patient too. call again the NEXT day (2 days after my item has been scanned out for delivery) and they tell me my package is MISSING. i'm like "what the fuck?"

so the next day (3 days after) i call TWMperformance to get them to start a scan. long story short(er), my item was found..in calgary

in other words, my item was in a truck bound for delivery from richmond to richmond locations, and somehow ended up in calgary. to this day i do not know how the hell that is even possible

Richmond is where they did the paper work for you item. Since Hong Kong is 15 hours ahead the paper work was done in Richmond just 4 hours after it left Hong Kong.

For some reason the tracking on the fedex website is not as detailed as the one on the yahoo site.
