it is not the height that's scary...but the fact that they are often climbing without any safety restrain system in case they slipped or one of the tiny metal rod snapped.


But I guess the job ain't too bad for some tho. The money is good and after some time you'd probably get used to it.....and after all..there are plenty of people who would pay to walk the El Caminito del Rey.

lol how you know its $300/h? well i guess the hazard pay is $500/h on top of the $300... haha.. man its gona take the whole day to climb up that thing..

they do have a safely cable, when they need to take a break.. haha.. but for the climbing part, i think its more worse having to hook and unhook every few steps..



tooo bad im afraid of heights, or i would soooo do this..

This job starts @ $15 per hour. $22 if you are experienced.

I've climbed and worked on 30-40' poles. clipping in the whole way up. those sway in the wind and you can feel it. I can't image how much this would one move. I bet it moves 5-10' back and forth at the top...

for all you guys who can't even watch the movie, WTF. it's a dam movie. it's not your real life.
