Search Function & 30 Second Wait

I know we have a 30 second wait in between making posts, but is it really necessary to wait 30 seconds per search?

Granted, I have zero knowledge behind the mechanisms of running a online forum, but it really does slow down a search process.

It puts a huge load on the servers I think. Also, one way to attack a forum is to spam the search feature, so the 30 sec is there to stop that I think. Just use the google search!

Trick of the trade... If your search yields no results you like, hit the back button and do another search.
