Openroad Honda Parts- Poor Service
 

Went to Openroad Honda to order a part. Was promissed part would arrive by a certain date but did not get. This kept going on for sometime before getting pissed off and going to another dealer.

Richmond Honda Still calls me about parts that i ordered from 2008
Every time i tell them that the car was returned after a lease, yet they still call once in a while

you don't see me making a thread about it.

dealers... nuf said.

Well...when your car is out of commission and you need a part for it to run, you'd be pissed off too!!!! Waited for weeks for it to arrive only to get the run around!!

And No, I will not go with aftermarket parts!!!!

Email Christian Chia. I know someone who did over crappy service at one of the Open Road dealerships and he actually got a phone call from him, ha ha

openroad honda does give shitty service unless you get robert.. i deal with him on a day to day basis... alan isnt as friendly..

The service advisors have nothign to do with how long the part takes... Honda probably said 2 weeks, so he just relayed the message. Hes probably as mad aat honda as you are at him..... happens all the time man. Its like getting pissed at your waiter because your food is taking so long.

parts sometimes get back ordered. dont hate on the parts guy, hes just doing his job.

+1 to back ordered parts.


not to mention, honda has moved our local warehouse in richmond to somewhere in alberta.

Yeah they moved the parts warehouse to Alberta, mainly due to the additional taxes in BC. Parts Manager from North Shore Acura gave me the whole explanation as to how moving the facility to Alberta was supposed to save Honda Canada like 20 million bucks.

why dont you just order it from another honda dealer instead to go back to the same one just to get dusted off???

Christian is pretty cool, it's a big company but if he finds out you're not happy, he would personally try to make it right.

I think he's on the radio every morning too.. All my female friends have a crush on him, too bad for them he's happily married I hear.

The guy never said it was back ordered, told me it would be next day! If he had said back ordered, than it's no big deal!
