Ichiba Spacer V2

Hi guys, just wondering what you guys take on adding spacers on our IS-F. I just installed the KW V3 coilover and still can't decide if I wanted to add the spacer or not. Did a bit of reserach on the net and some people said it's dangerous and some people said it's complete fine. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Do you go tracking or just daily driver?

DD is fine, I have Ichiba V2 15mm on my car and you cannot even notice its there. Even when driving highway speeds above 120kmh. Good choice on Iciba too cuz it comes with hub rings!

Sometimes the kits come with extended studs so you can switch out your shorter stock ones for extended ones

the V2 have studs built into the spacer, but unless your rims are "non solid" and not mulitfits (since the studs will be "offset" into the non solid slots, if you got multi fits then your gonna have to chop off the tops w/ a grinder took bout 10 minutes per wheel, before i realized it goes much faster if you leave the nut on the stud then remove the nut and then the threads will be fine

hahaha I have it on my IS300 too. =P

What wheels r u running?

enkei rs7's +35 offset so i got a cool +20 and that cool +20 tore my passenger quarter panel(when i dumped after spacers)... so now i need flares and a +15 rim :D

hopefully with a +15x9" rim ill still be able to tuck 19's

^whoa, slammed in the back. Bagged?

I have a pair of 20mm v2 spacers for my integra. Fit great. Seem strong enough. But my tires rubbed like crazy so had to take them off untill I can get my fenders rolled. Going to pick up a pair of 15mm's for my front.

I like the v2 spacers because the studs are built in. Makes it easy to take them off if you want to run different wheels for winter.

They are truly plug and play. Super convenient!

notice the screen name ;)

and only way i can get the front to lay out more is if i go with smaller rims...
right now since my passenger side fender chewed up my side wall im running my stock 17's up front and the 19's in the rear since my fenders is still potentially dangerous for a 19" rim/tire

Nice reverse rake

Hammer will solve your issues up front

jeffwilliams17 09-21-2010 08:25 PM

My bad. I was reading the posts not names. Last year I had a 94 accord 4 door that was bagged on 19s. It sat real low front and back. Muffler would touch ground and my front lip would be about an inch off the road. I never had any issues with rubbing the tires. I didn't run a real aggressive offset tho. I had some axis wheels and had only a 2.5" lip on the front and 3" in the back. Bit if I went any wider in front I wouldev had to roll fenders. Loved air ride but got to be too many headaches for a dd

im leaving it until i get my fenders with more clearance installed+painted probably in march/may get all my body work done in one shot...

and if iw as running 215's up front i wouldn't have a problem(235's came with rims for 1000$), but when dumped my car rests on the tires.
so the body is sitting on the tires..

do you have a TRD grill? i think ive seen you're car around downtown...

jeffwilliams17 09-21-2010 08:51 PM

Ah that makes sense. 235s are real wide. I was stretching some 215/30/19s and it was still close.

baggdis300 09-21-2010 09:06 PM

i gotta find me some 215/30's .......

jeffwilliams17 09-21-2010 09:38 PM

I believe I had generals then cut one and the only tire could find in that size was a falken n was something stupid like 265 per tire.. I only replace the one.

baggdis300 09-21-2010 09:48 PM

yeah, luckily i got a buddy who works at a tire warehouse so cheaaap prices FTW

i got a set of winters for 200$

jeffwilliams17 09-21-2010 09:53 PM

That is a great hook up to have. I'll be needing winters soon. Not looking forward to it.

Ps. Sorry to the op for getting off topic. But yes, go for the v2 spacers lol.
