back on topic,
I've been on the trial for a couple of days now, and the lack of selection is obviously because of licensing agreement issues. On the bright side, I see them release new stuff everyday, so just a matter of time before they catch up to US content?
If you have doubts, just do the one month trial, you have nothing to lose.

Netflix did a pretty good job of marketing there service to canadian consumers. However, their movie selection is just terrible for a company that just hit Canada. Build a good library FIRST not after. Netflix FTL
Thankgod they gave out 1 month free trials...

the library isnt so good, but i dont mind.
i dont use it so much to find stuff specifically, because i could just dl a movie i really want to see.
instead i like browsing it because i find tons of stuff i never considered watching or never heard of.
makes me watch a lot of stuff i normally wouldnt but glad i did.

I usually stream through surfthechannel.com - they have a pretty updated list of shows to watch there.

^You still have to go back and forth from the store if you want to rent a movie...
I wouldn't mind doing that if I still lived really close to a blockbuster.
