We have seen the $100,000 shower and now, we have a sparkling bathtub for the rich souls that costs nearly the same. INAX Corp, the company that has already shown us the gilded toilet, has now unveiled a luxurious bathtub in Ginza, Tokyo priced at ¥7,927,500 (about US $93,450). The exterior of the bath, currently on exhibition, is festooned with 10-millimeter tiles of 24-karat white gold. The new VETRO SERIES NUOVA PRIMO/PRESTIGE will be available to order on October 1, 2010, with the deliveries to begin in January 2011. The INAX VETRO Series is aimed straight at those who can go to any extent for an invigorating and lavish bathing experience.
This one comes from the same maker who earlier lured the rich folks with their chrome-plated toilet. But for those who demand more, there is the “Isis” collection that features blinged-out bathroom fixtures designed by Jemal Wright of Hollywood, Florida. This blinged toilet comes fully encrusted with Swarvoski crystals and costs $75,000.

The gizmo-filled posh pad, named “Antilla,” is a 27-story, 40,000 sq/ft tower that belongs to the head of Mumbai-based petrochemical giant Reliance Industries. The building will stand 570-ft tall above the ground and will have 400,000 sq. ft. of interior space. The home has six stories of parking space alone after which the living quarters with nine elevators and a host of storage rooms and lounges begin. Mostly glass, it has a staff of 600 servants, but at the rate this palatial home is getting blinged out, we won’t be entirely surprised if the number increased by a couple of hundreds more!

While the idea remains symbolically important with the region’s traditional ties to the gold business, it still remains to be seen if this uniqueness is going to stimulate any demand.

There is no end to Batman obsession. While Christopher Nolan is busy with his plans for the Batman 3, someone working at the Warner Bros. studio lot has taken Batman obsession to another level by creating an awesome Tumbler-styled golf cart. When spotted on the studio lot, it was first thought to be owned by Christopher Nolan himself. But later, it was discovered that this Batman Tumbler Golf Cart belongs to some anonymous Batman super fan who uses it to move around the lot with Bat-crazy style. The custom cart is also being reported to feature the sound effects from the actual tumbler. The jet engine sits in the back, but we don’t know if this thing blazes out fire too. Without a doubt, Christopher Nolan must be highly impressed with this DIY cart. More pics after the jump.
