no, I think you're misunderstanding me. how many kids these days do you know of who would rather read than listen to mainstream music? I can guarantee you there's not a lot. Not just rap music but all types of music that kids are labeling to be the "cool" things to listen that don't teach you much. I'm not saying it's wrong to be listening to mainstream music. In fact, I listen to it all the time. But there's a lot more knowledge to be gained through reading a book than listening to music with lyrics that don't make sense most of the time.

Okay I understand where you are coming from, but reading isn't always the best solution because in the end its just theory. Doing would be much more sufficent. :P

i know a kid thats was getting bullied a lot & he thought about killing himself once so he came & ask me if that was the way to go since he thought the whole world hated him, i was once in his shoes in elementary so i told him no don't kill yourself cuz that just shows the world that u gave up

so i told him that u should show the world u that your not afraid, so he ask him if i should take the bully help lines advice to just "walk away", he told me it doesn't work after he used it so i said just fight him once u take him down he be scared of u so he told the advice & he never talked or stare at the kid again

I was bullied all through elementary and most of high school. Problem is, looking back on it, that despite schools and facilitators preaching a zero tolerance for bullying, they do nothing to stop or punish it. Walking away, yes it only works to a point. Reacting to what the bully does is what keeps it coming.

I understand that it's a hard subject, and that a kid did die. Could it have been prevented? Probably. Could the school system done something better? Certainly. Could the parents be more responsible with firearms, definitely. But hindsight is 20/20. I just hope this story helps to wake up someone. Either parents, teachers at schools, or even a bully.

school shoot or suicide is not the 1st time in north america so one more sad story still won't fix it, sometimes u have to bite hard hit them where it hurts the most plus i have phone those help lines before & there pretty much garbage by giving u the same advice & that would only take u so far

teachers & schools need to take this seriously, duo how there gonna do it but i hope it's gonna be better then what they have now

RIP. life seems so hard for kids these days.. sucks how everyone has to "fit in" to be accepted..

Even when i was 13, everyone happened to get along with each other in class or maybe it was just a good neighborhood =/
