13-year-old boy; Bullied to death.

This is so sad, thought I'd share it with all of you. =(

Bullying is not the way to go.

I searched if this was a repost, didn't find anything.

How does a 13 year old kid know he's gay? If he was open about it to other 13 year olds no shit your gonna get bullied when none of the kids even understand anything

Why would a 13 year old have access to a hand gun? Parenting fail? And not noticing signs of extreme depression? Maybe you shoulda gotten your kid some help.

SpartanAir 09-30-2010 08:07 AM

Very sad...makes you wonder though, was this always an issue, or is kids killing themselves over bullying a new thing? Did kids commit suicide say 40 years ago?

I was bullied a few times when I was a kid, and it was really rough, but I never thought to kill myself...it must have been awful for that kid.

b0unce. [?] 09-30-2010 08:13 AM

Maybe he used a co2 bb-gun. Or maybe he found his parent's handgun...
It looks like their parents didn't try very hard to help him with his problems.

jpark 09-30-2010 09:43 AM

this is tragic and messed up.... but the kid got his hands on a gun.. its also very scary to think what other choices we would have made with the hand gun other than killing him self.

PiuYi 09-30-2010 10:34 AM

took your fail AND thanks virginity :D

flagella 09-30-2010 11:11 AM

lots of teens dying.

JHuJHu 09-30-2010 11:24 AM

RIP... I really feel bad for the parents. Having a kid to read and not listen to ipods and wear name-brand clothing is one of a kind...

kids who'd rather read than listen to bullshit rap music are usually the ones who end up with MBA's at high-end universities despite being called a nerd throughout their elementary and high school life =/. haters gonna hate until they realize how much smarter the nerd they once bullied actually is.
Too bad he wasn't taught that there were other alternatives than killing yourself, the parent's fault on that part...

So if they read and listen to any other genre of music then rap they'll be successful? I shed a tear for you are really oblivious to the world we live in today.

_Hotsauce_ 09-30-2010 02:56 PM

When I was in middle school and high school I was bullied all the fucking time, you know what I did to relieve my stress? Played violent video games, not kill my self, cuz that's just stupid.

Kim Jong Un 09-30-2010 07:24 PM

Society teaches kids how to judge, oh you don't got this, you don't have that. Sad world we live in.

no, I think you're misunderstanding me. how many kids these days do you know of who would rather read than listen to mainstream music? I can guarantee you there's not a lot. Not just rap music but all types of music that kids are labeling to be the "cool" things to listen that don't teach you much. I'm not saying it's wrong to be listening to mainstream music. In fact, I listen to it all the time. But there's a lot more knowledge to be gained through reading a book than listening to music with lyrics that don't make sense most of the time.

haha wow you are pretty ignorant and you have no clue on what goes on in this world. you seem to think only the rap "gangsters" are bullies. you go to university or school in the states and even in the movies you see that the preppy frat boys and jocks are bullies..not just your "gangsters". A lot of people who are successfull were bullies once in their lives, just cause your a bully when you're 13 doesn't mean you're not going anywhere in life. You're just bitter as fuck cause you got bullied by some rap listening punks.

I never bullied anyone as I found it stupid to pick on the weak to make myself feel better. You can go read all the books you want, they won't teach you how to make friends or any social skills.

orange7 10-01-2010 01:06 AM

sad

vafanculo 10-01-2010 01:27 AM

He told his parents he was gay the same day he killed himself.

I wonder how much their response affected his decisions. My guess is they probably didn't take him serious and brushed him off. That, and with the bullying he got, couldn't handle it and snapped. Poor guy.

People that kill themselves are weak minded, so while it is nice to think we can stop suicides by stopping bullying, we cannot protect these people from all the evils of life and eventually something will overwhelm them.

self defense or fight, don't bother with "walking away" cuz that don't work

i know a kid thats was getting bullied a lot & he thought about killing himself once so he came & ask me if that was the way to go since he thought the whole world hated him, i was once in his shoes in elementary so i told him no don't kill yourself cuz that just shows the world that u gave up

so i told him that u should show the world u that your not afraid, so he ask him if i should take the bully help lines advice to just "walk away", he told me it doesn't work after he used it so i said just fight him once u take him down he be scared of u so he told the advice & he never talked or stare at the kid again
