I've had that happen to me (being nearly run into by stupid lane-changers) quite a lot, and I hate it, which is why I always drive defensively. Get out of someone's blind zone as quick as you can; either overtake or slow down so that you're not going to be a surprise for the other driver.
As a motorcyclist, you should be aware that you present a much smaller profile than another car, and you should ride even more defensively. Staring at the other driver to show your anger after the fact is also a stupid move to do.
This would not have been on the news, and we would not be having this argument, if the motorcyclist had not stared at the kid for "road rage" and paid attention to the road instead. I'm not saying the kid isn't at fault for the initial situation, just that the rider compounded it and made it worse by his actions, ultimately leading to his demise. Quote:
