volleyball

I did a search and didn't come up with anything recent.

Anyways, I'm looking to invest in a good volleyball, since the places my friends usually rent out has some crappy or really tough volleyballs.

So my question is which indoor ball do the volleyball players on this forum recommend?

Also, where can you buy it locally? I've checked out Canadian Tire, Walmart and Sportcheck. They all got pretty low end volleyballs for sale.

There are tons of other places to pick up volleyballs and it all depends on your budget.

Baiden Perfection, Baiden Perfection Elite and Lexum are really good vballs. I also have the Mikasa MVA200 Beijing Olympic Game Ball.

Shop around.

- Tad's sports on granville street
- Abby's sports
- Volleyball BC (harry jerome)
- raquet and runners on oak street. (i bought two vballs from them)

or you could always check craigslist !! =)

The best place now to buy volleyball gear is at VolleyballStuff. Its in Coquitlam near the IKEA.

The best indoor balls to play with here in BC are either a Tachikara (which is the National indoor ball) or the official BC Ball which is Baden

The best outdoor or beach ball is the wilson Gold.

The Tachikara SV5W Gold ball is a good all around ball for the hitters and setters and comes in a variety of colours
Personally the Mikasa MVA 200 is smaller and harder.
Baden balls are a nice a solid ball that hitters will like.
US Colleges play with the Molten NCAA

I have owned and played with all but the Molten ball.
I like the Baden and the Tachikara balls the best.

As for outdoor balls, the Wilson Gold is very popular and there is also the Mikasa which is a popular ball for beach.

I bought my balls from Canuckstuff or , but that was before volleyballstuff opened a store.
Canuck Sports Stuff - volleyball shoes uniforms apparel bags balls nets minuno asics overkill mikasa Toronto Ontario Canada | canuckstuff
Volleyball Equipment | Volleyball Uniforms | Mizuno Gear | Asics Gear | Volleyball Shoes- Canada Volleyball Source-Volleyballstuff.net

I have also bought balls from northern athletics in Poco as well.
Northern Athletic- your source for school sports

Price wise they are similar, I would probably try and support the local shop in this case.
