| Shaw Pace HDPVR 160GB
Does anyone have this HDPVR terminal? if so, do you ever encounter an error message where it says ur PVR is full, but it's actually not, and you can't get out of that screen, unless you delete some files, but there's nothing to delete.
Is there a solution to this problem? Thanks!

It does go away after a powercycle; however, it comes back again in a week or two, and it gets annoying after you get the error message couple of times, cause you need to unplug and wait another 45 min or so for your box to download the TV guide.

it's a problem with the code load that happened almost a week ago with the pace box. personally i think the pace box is a pos but ppl still buy it. anyways if you still have issue with it. post ur serial number here and i'll sap the box for you downloading the firmware again

We had so many issue with the PACE LOL. Is a shitty box. Is a lot better just to buy the DCT 3400 for like $100 more.

I got my Pace for free, so I shouldn't be complaining TOO MUCH, but still, it gets really annoying.
I'll post my serial # if this issue occurs again. Thanks terkan!

lol doesn't matter. Is the box itself. Even the older model DCT 4616 is better than PACE.

Ok, I'll switch it.
I just realized that this error only occurs when I try to record a live event; such as, a Canucks game, but my HD is empty.

with my motorola i can still use my dvd recorder | most digital content you won't be able to record due to the copyright law nowadays. you can record using vcr coz it can't tell the difference |

LOL, you don't need to tell some guy over the internet your serial # to get him to force a firmware download on your box.
Unplug the power from the box. Hold down 'Power' and 'Select', while simultaneously plugging the power cord into the back of the box. The box should immediately DL the firmware.

if you look at the Pace manual from the Pace website you're supposed to be able to copy whats on the pvr to your dvd recorder too -_-
they totally made my dvd recorder useless good thing i kept my motorola as well i guess as that works or else i'd have to buy one of those machines that makes it so you can record (costs like $100)

LOL, it was your suggestion for him to post his serial # so you could initiate a firmware download. I simply offered an alternative method that would have the same result.
You didn't say anything about seeing if you could initiate a connection to the DCT.
