oh man i hate peter chao and at first i thought this was lame, but i couldn't help it - shit is hilarious. To be honest tho, i wouldn't have thought it was half as funny as i did if there weren't actual people in that gym watching them do this. I kept thinking about what the FUCK those random ppl must be thinking watching these idiots doing this hahahahhaha
what worries me though is the fact taht they own this douchey clothing. Are they douchebags posing as even bigger douchebags?
My friend made that video. He's been trying to outdo Peter Chao lately..
Good luck, Peter Chaos videos are simple thats what makes him so great in so many peoples eyes. This guy is doing too much and what kind of crap camera is he using??
except peter chao actually has background in film making. that's what separates him from the others.
Yup, the actor's that plays Chao been working in different parts of the film industry for a while, and Peter Chao is the only sketch that's gotten success. His networking and contact list is probably huge now. And as stated above, I believe he is making somewhere between 100-200k a year. Props to him for being so persistent.

so are asians supposed to conform to some sort of stereotypical behaviour?
being asian id like to know
I think you know very well what the sterotypes are.
Eating scrambled eggs in the morning isn't one of them.
Peter Chao is making fun of the stereotypes Asians get, but some of his jokes make absolutely no sense.
I would say Asians in Vancouver today are almost no different from other people. If Peter Chao wants to poke fun at the traditional stereotypes, at least make it historically correct and not invented.

His race jokes are of stereotypes from a white man's paradigm or something that would related to a white man's paradigm of an Asian individual (think Mickey Rooney in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's').
From a marketing perspective, have a significant white following and you're set. Think Dane Cook - white folks love the dude's jokes despite how corny or awful a lot of the jokes are.
