today and tomorrow

Just finished traveling for 12 months through Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Loas, Thailand, South Africa (world cup), Amsterdam, London and Berlin. This and especially making it to Base Camp Everast, and doing the Annapurna Circuit were the greatest times in my life.

Can't think of a best time. I know what is the shittiest time, is when the Canucks keep getting their asses blown out of the playoffs every year :(, always makes me disappointed.

rslater - what were the parameters for getting to base camp at Everest (training, price, experience,etc.) Myself and a couple friends are interested in trying this but I expect that it isn't something you just up and do and might require some time/training.

First trip to Asia/Vietnam. First 2 nights in Asia was Christmas Eve/Day in Hong Kong.

Spent about a month in the region, went to my best friends wedding who I hadn't seen for about 4 years, traveled all around Vietnam, a bunch of friends who I hadn't seen for a long time also came for the wedding so it was kind of like a reunion.

Pretty much led the way for my love of Vietnam and why I am now here working.

Olympics was pretty epic.
Also some trips to a cabin, or states, etc. with a big group of friends is always fun.

im gonna say olympics as well, watching the mens gold hockey game, then getting destroyed downtown with a million random people who were all friends that day hahaha..

sneaking into the german house and having security chase us and we ran to the dance floor, took off my jacket and threw it into the air, grabbed the first girl i could, and started making out with her....security ran past me, and i just skipped a 4+ hour line up :)

next best time of my life will be in january, boys trip 2011 - desination unknown

Obvious answer for a parent but the day my son was born was truly the best day.

19 years old going to school full time working full time and watching my baby girl being born that was topped only a few moments later when I got to hold her.
Just thinkin about it and it still brings me immense joy and a tear, that was 14 years ago.

This Summer, 2 months in HK/China, could do anything I want and no one knew who I was lol :)

Can't forget Olympics though, that was pretty FUCKING EPIC!
