It was probably the revised version which doesn't have any or as much caffeine as before.

Four Loko back on store shelves
PORTLAND, Ore. – Just weeks after being pulled off the shelves in Washington and Oregon, a stripped-down version of the drink dubbed "black out in a can" is back.
Four Loko is making its way back to store shelves in Washington after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a crackdown on the sale of high-amp energy drinks in November. The makers of Four Loko removed the caffeine and two other stimulants, and the Washington State Liquor Control Board approved the change Dec. 8.
Oregon also banned caffeinated alcoholic beverages in November. We do not know if the new-recipe Four Loko has been approved in Oregon. However, retailers tell us the OLCC is gradually notifying store owners and removing old-recipe cans one by one from shelves.
And what about the old Four Loko? It's now set to be guzzled ... by cars.
I couldn't find any when I was at the supermarket at Point Roberts on saturday
