I seen this guy 2 summers ago, he was lower back then, he raised the car back up judging by these pics..
I know it's surprising, but midrange and even cheaper tires stretch better and last longer, most of the stretch guys are running either Federals, Nexens or Nankangs, Generals, etc.......
While it's proven amongst the same crowd that more expensive brands like Hankook, Falken, Toyo, etc... have soft sidewalls which aren't good to stretch since it results in the sidewalls bubbling.
Obviously the cheaper tires don't handle as good or take wet weather any better than the better brands, but stretch guys need their tires to be robust and wear out well.
now having said all that, WTF are LingLong tires, bahaaha??

now having said all that, WTF are LingLong tires, bahaaha?? | seem that car in richmond some underground parking, i think he lives in richmond.. btw, G-spec, my car is slammed and cambered crazily, tires wore out in a month due to side walls bubbling, however, i also run some toe in due to alignment issues.. im wondering if thats a major part of it. as my shop tells me its not all about the camber, the toe did most of the damage.

Yea bro camber will cAuse only uneven wear on 1 side, not faster wear... Toe is the killer, toe is what will eat your tires in a matter of months. What kind of camber kit you got upfront and rear? I got SPC rear with the toe bolt for adjustment, and ichiba upfront so my toe can be adjusted easily, would recommend those.

Falken stretch nicely if u ask me. Had 225/45/17 on 9j wheels and they stretched the same as the 215 Hankook I have now Posted via RS Mobile | |

| Jing, 45 series tires thats a LOT of sidewall to stretch and work with, the guys having problems are the ones stretching 30 series and 35 series low profile Falken FK452's..
they look nicely stretched yea, but sidewalls on the Falkens and also the Hankook V12's are too soft to stretch safely on a low profile series like 30 or 35's..
I was gonna get the Hankooks until a few buddies of mine told me from personal experience sidewalls are too soft.
Here's the difference between a tire that runs smaller than true size, a Nankang NS2 next to a Falken FK452 than runs larger than true size, you can see the Nankang is stretched more

Nothing wrong with cheaper tires, and since 90% of people here are just using their cars to get around town + fwd.
I only see a point if you have a high powered car or using a car for tracking.
With cheaper tires you can drift, burnout, beat the shit out of them without worrying about the cost. That's why I got Nexen N7000's recently, and can have both the reares replaced for only like $300-350... not a bad idea.
