Pretty outrageous for only interior upgrades, spoiler, wheel and exhaust...

man.. looks nice indeed, but price tag is fcked up IMO

Plus even if it looks good by itself, I don't think it really goes well with the image of GTR. I just can't see those people shopping for high end luxury sports car even caring about GTR.

Sgt_Koopa 10-20-2010 02:21 PM

Yeah, the interior is pretty kick ass. But the price is a bit up steep.

optiblue 10-20-2010 02:52 PM

Wow, looks almost ferrari ish. Price is a little high though

b-dub 10-20-2010 03:10 PM

I wonder if the new interior adds much weight to the car...

almost always does. But people who pay for the luxury items won't care much about weight. Not many people race their high end cars, the few that do are in a different financial class.

Nah, I will pass~

ivys2k 10-20-2010 03:50 PM

love the interior

gearshifter 10-20-2010 07:23 PM

Great interior, doesn't suit the car itself though imo.
Seems too much for the image of a GTR.

And price... definitely GTR enthusiasts only!

ilvtofu 10-20-2010 07:45 PM

Wow those wheels are hideous imo.
Definitely much needed upgrade, still cheap plastic switches weren't replaced. Brushed aluminum would've been sexy

boss604 10-20-2010 08:00 PM

its nice but doesnt suit the gtr

Phil@rise 10-21-2010 09:22 AM

A tad Bentley Continental GTish. It'll sell.

jpark 10-21-2010 09:43 AM

IMO, they should have updated the exterior a bit more to go along with that interior

wasabisashimi 10-21-2010 09:47 AM

the interior is exactly the same as Infiniti FX or M...... well at least the color and diagnal leather stitches

well every companies are doing the led thing now so its not surprising.. but they could have gotten rid of that spoiler if they are aiming for sales in the luxury market.. perhaps added a smaller subtle lip kinda spoiler or modified the rear end a bit.

Both are cheap vinyl. The newer gen is a HIGHER grade of vinyl and some part are leather but still can't really compare it to Audi interior. The pre 09 gen also has bubbling dash problem but it is cover by warranty. Don't get me wrong the interior still look great but the fit and finish isn't up to par with say rx from Lexus. But than again rx is the boriest suv u can possibly buy. Buy the fx for it's performance relative to it's competitor, the luxury is just a bonus. At least that's how I see it. It has a vq35 engine so the possibility is limitless

so the leather interior is a false claim then.. leathet wrapped steering wheel, leather wrapped shift knob etc.

Death2Theft 10-21-2010 04:23 PM

They are releasing two models this is the "lux" model there is also a ligther weight faster version as well.

The steering wheel is definitely true leather. But I'm not sure about the rest. It all feels like leather until it starts to crack and u can tell leather does not crack that way. I'm think it's a think layer of leather wrap on vinyl. I actually had a small argument with the warranty department at the dealership about this. They still insist it's REAL leather through and through. I believe the g are like that as well.
