FS/FT 1988 4runner. Sas, 35's, built solid!

Hello, I am selling a 1988 3.0 v6 4Runner

Ill start off by saying im not here to hide anything on this 4runner..

Bought this vehicle 4 months ago. It was my first vehicle purchase, and was not familiar with buying obviously because i had never done it before. So i went on the guys word and pretty much bought his problem. I am only 18 so i dont have a 'career' i guess you could say but i do make money just not a whole heck of a lot lol.

The reason im selling is because the truck has some problems and right now i just plain out can not afford to keep this truck, and can not afford the up keep on a rig like this.

I have all receipt's for the truck since iv owned, i have the icbc claim sheet that tells the accidents thefts from the vehicle. *the vehicle has never been broken into or been in an accident since iv owned it*

Maintenance i have had done to it -
-new muffler/clamps done by Vancouver Brake and Wheel in Port Moody
-oil pressure sender unit done by Apollo Muffler Centres in Port Moody
-new fuel lines, fuel pump bracket, gasget & screws, fuel filter, fuel pump done by Apollo Muffler Centres in Port Moody

I will have the differential fluid and oil changed upon purchase on my behalf, but i will leave it as is right now so the buyer can see that nothing is mixed or cross contaminated.

Big Country Customs work that has been done to it. *this was done by previous not I* -
-5" SAS kit
-Diff armor, Creeper Gusset, Large armor
-upgrade 5150
-6 Shooter Knuckles
-6 Bolt Histeer
-30 Spline Longs
-Cromo Hub Gears
-Timken Wheel Bearings
-Marlin Knuckle Kit
-Long Spline
-Hipin, 529's Elocker in the front
-529's Detroit in the rear
-Front C shape bumper with Winch mount
-Rear bumper with Swing away plus Jerry can holder
-Sliders

The only thing i have put on the truck is a XD9000i winch that looks brand new with two paint scratches.

Issues with the 4runner -
-Valve Cover Leaks
-Tune Up
-Front Wheel Bearings
-Front Shackle Bushings
-Alingment
-Rear End Pinion Bearing
-Ujoints

There is some rust on it and i will be willing to take pictures of it for the people that are interested.

*The back window does Not work, but if i get an offer and i like it i will have the Back window fixed, whether it needs a new motor or just some wires need fixing.*

The 3.0, I was told by the previous owner had been rebuilt and is now sitting at around 195,000kms. On start up it does have a bottom end knock but goes away once the vehicle is warmed up. I was told to not really worry about by a member on BC4x4 and that his has been doing that for a year with 0 problems.

I have been wheeling to Eagle Ridge about 6 times, and to Stave Lake once. I did not go mud bogging in the truck for those who are wondering.

Both front fenders are dented in from opening the door while articulated. The driver side was done by me and the other was done by the previous owner. The truck has pinstripping on it from wheeling.

This is what im asking -
-$7000.00 with winch
-6200.00 without winch

im Obo on the pricing but please dont low ball. I will be using the money to get a car that suits my income.

Questions are welcome.

Thank you, Tyler

if you have a car that you would be interested in trading feel free to offer.

I will look at nissan's, honda hatchbacks, toyota, subaru, mitsubishi. basic is a tuner car. No domestic, i like my japanese!!!

Price is kinda steep no? When I saw '1988' and 'someone elses problem' and 'rust' and 'engine knock' and 'dents' (I think you get where I'm going), I was thinking this thing would be like $1-2K.
Having said that I dont know anything about 4x4's or anything about the cost of the lift kit on it, but I dont think anyone on this forum would either.. Perhaps you should enlighten us to justify the price?

The front axle alone is worth about 2000-2500. My pricing is fair. I drive this thing everyday and I never get sick of driving it because I get looks everywhere I go. If I made more money I would fix it but I just plain out can not afford it. I have never ever had anyone who knows these kinds of trucks tell me it isn't solid. Frame is solid, has 1 surface rust area. Body has one bad rust spot, it doesn't have the usual rust infested fenders. The two front fenders are wher it's dented and you can find replacements for under 100 bucks.

So yes I believe my pricing is fair. I'm about 11,000 into the truck. Asking less then I paid and iv had work done on it and put the winch on it.

Sorry if this came across rude I had no intentions of it being rude. All the add ons done by big country customs came to 9,500 bucks tax and Labour not included.

LOL what kind of axles were you selling? Dana 44's? This a toy axle completely rebuilt out of an 85. Hi pinion e locker 529 gears six shooter nuckles.

And I am keeping it. Don't post something stupid like 350 for my front axle. You can barely get a stock 85 toy axle for that much.
