If somebody wants your car, they'll take it. One way or another. Clubs, fuel cut-offs, etc. only slow them down. :(

What kind of theft deterant device/system did you have on your vehicle during the time it was stolen?

i had a friend get his car stolen from metrotown once, he had it parked in the underground parking lot, under silvercity. forget the year but it was a newer model civic (probably 2000?)

anyway, it's always better safe then sorry. before that i never bothered locking up my cars steering wheel or anything, but since then i always do it, unless i'm parking in a really high traffic area. even then i still do it sometimes (because you'd think metrotown parking would be high traffic)

but again - better safe then sorry. takes $30 to buy a steering wheel lock (if you don't have an alarm system), and about 30 seconds each time to put it on/take it off
