But yah i jus like to ride, its wicked fun and i heart powder.

^^ That place is the awesomest (but I thought it's called the Terrain Garden or something like that?). Ended up learning on a tiny down-rail for what felt like hours after closing until patrol kicked us off.

ooh yes,

the mushroom park is at seymour.

As for Sunday, if the weather is good, I'll hopefully be making my mockumentary on cypress.

should be a fun day...provided the weather is good.

Blackcomb has a small terrain park with small-medium jumps. Nothing special. I think it's a little way down the Green Run up on the Express chairlift. I don't know the names haha, don't pay much attention when I go up to Blackcomb.

Haven't been up much this season, the snows been kinda bad when I did go. Gonna finally try and learn to snowboard this season

Sup guys! Mind if i get an opinion?

Do you guys think that, this late into the season, it's still worth it to buy an Off-peak pass ($499) or a Nite-timer pass ($604) from Cypress? Or are there better alternatives for people looking to go up a lot from now to season's end, like discount cards?

I'm a complete 1st timer that's looking to improve immensely by going up 2 - 3 (MWF or TTh) times a week, and $46 per night is quite a bit of dough... will the passes end up paying for themselves eventually?

I'll have to still pay full price on weekend rides with my buddies if i get these passes, so basically this is like a set of really expensive individual snowboard lessons/mellow out time.

thanks a lot guys!

PS.
Going down the mountain at night is freaking nice. Almost too relaxing.

^ Easy, work out how many weeks are left in the season, and how many times you go per week. And see how much you would be spending without a pass.

Where is a good place to get a cheap waterproof jacket and pants? I've only been snowboarding twice in my life and I've already bought a board!

Winners has some good stuff. You should wait till the end of the season. A lot of things get discounted.

As well you should check out

It's kinda like groupon but every 20 minutes there is a new deal.

Anybody else go up this weekend? Me and the gf only had a few hours so we hit up grouse mountain. Pretty icy as expected, wasn't very busy tho. Definetly needs a solid dump of snow tho!
