Yes we do allow sticks to be cut down after its been pruchased. The common misconception is that cutting down the stick will void the warrenty, that is only the case if you cut beyond the manufacture's reccomended cut range. This used to be never listed, so stores would tell customers that they can't cut the stick in fear that the customer will cut too much. But as long as you cut within the manufacture's marked range, you'll be fine.

That being said, any stick that is cut cannot be returned

lol my favorite arguments were the ones about the warranties being voided if the sticks were cut....

Also, will you guys be replacing rivots? 2 stores I tried listed rivot replacement @ 2$/each, when I brought my skates in they said they didn't have a rivot machine lol

Yes we will be, probably starting december. Rivtor is missing a few pieces, need to either get it replaced or get a new one.
Will also be doing profiling as well.

SolidPenguin 10-31-2010 01:16 AM

^ it just looks like your basic two large step bench. What do you mean by they should change it, where does the problem lie?

AzNightmare 11-01-2010 03:26 AM

So what is this?
Hockey Experts is some new "store" within a store?

Is it worth checking out or is this like a new layout of the typical hockey stuff that's there
at sportcheck normally? I'm specifically looking for goalie gear, and sportcheck usually just has one RBK set to choose from...

skiiipi 11-01-2010 05:45 AM

We still don't have a huge amount of goalie selection. That being said, we are able to order anything from RBK or Bauer

is this just same old sportcheck as before or has something changed?

cos if its the same old. they only sell the reject stuff from the big stores. ie. no high end sticks or skates

SumAznGuy 11-01-2010 11:52 AM

Skiiipi, I need a baby blue coloured hockey jersey in XL. Do you know if your store has it? I've checked out SE, Cyclones, SC on Broadway and none of them have one in that colour.

skiiipi 11-01-2010 12:00 PM

I know we have the penguin's baby blue colored rbk edge jersey, not sure if we have XL. Give the store a call, 604-278-5461
