| Shaw Customer Service
I guess many of you have suffered from the long wait for Shaw Customer Service on the phone.
My tv box went down suddenly and now I am on the phone for 40 minutes and no damn agents willing to pick up.
I am getting sick of the repetitive music and message
What is the longest wait you guys had?
Mine was 1 hour 30 minutes.

You must be really unlucky I have 5 minute wait tops. They should be able to help you so hang in there. Posted via RS Mobile |

Twice in the last week. Once to to get them to reboot a shaw box and once to activate a box. Before I have not had to wait when I called them. something must be up.

Do they no longer have that call-back service where you'd leave them your phone number and they'd call you back within xx minutes to yy minutes?

Already said but why wouldn't you just use the callback service? It's a no brainer.

Longest wait? 5 plus hours. I used my other line and called the same number and got a person within 15 minutes. Like what the fuck? I kept the other line going on speaker phone until I got through on the second line. That's bullshit! This was a while back. I use call back feature and it isn't fast, either. At least it doesn't tie up your line.
Once in a while I get through within 5 to 10 minutes, but most of the time, it's one of those "We are experiencing longer than usual wait times." call.

I found that the callback option is only available if you are calling in for account things such as adding channels and what not. If you are calling in to the support line there is no option. And yes, fuck shaw and their stupid wait times, i've waited 2 hours on hold before to reach someone.

Well One of my friends used to work for shaw as a sales rep and they worked pretty much from 8am until 7pm??? After that there isn't much people. So you are expected to wait longer on the phone since there are less people working Posted via RS Mobile |

lol That's why swtich... but wait Telus wait time is pretty long.
Try Novus!
I think the longest wait time when I work there was 40mins. Usually you get a rep withn 5mins sometimes even instant lol. O and if you do call us try not to call until 10am to 12pm and then call around 2pm to 6pm. Never call after 10:45pm on weekday and after 7:40pm. Coz near closing we only have one rep working and usually he is really busy with calls so most likely your call won't get answer. Also don't call right when we open coz we only have one rep working.
Is a surpise since we have over 10k active accounts but only have 9 CSR working and during the most busy time we only have 5 taking calls.

If you're in a building with Novus, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't switch.
It wasn't too long ago that Shaw was promoting itself as the company with excellent customer service vis-a-vis Telus.

just unplug power and repulg after 5-10 sec. most problems are fixed that way. but u will have to wait .30 min before the guide is downloaded. when u call shaw thats the first thing they do to troubleshoot. (use to work thr 2 yrs back)
