Dreamworks animated have been epic in the fail department when it comes to sequels....im talking total disappointments compared to the first ones. I liked Kung Fu Panda myself, but i can only imagine it's only being brought back by demand without a real thought of story line.

others for example:
shrek 2
madagascar 2
Ice Age 2
Hell, you can even throw Transformers 2 in there fore kicks.

^ agreed..although out of all those i only saw shrek 2 (wtf didn't even know madagascar had a sequel)

I think the worst would probably How to Train a Dragon sequel..just watched it last week and it ended well.
