looking for a good volkswagen mechanic shop

I have 2004 Phaeton that requires a bit more TLC than normal cars. Ive called dealerships asking for maintenance on this vehicle and they push me off right away like they avoid working on this car. I get the usual "our mechanics are not trained to work on Phaetons" line.
any suggestions of a mechanic shop that can work on phaetons and also not make me dig a deep hole in my wallet?

I believe there's only one VW dealership locally that's trained to work on Phaetons, though I've forgotten the name of it. I believe it's in N Van, though.

Phaeton can be scanned by VAGCOm.. I think look at the VAGCom website / forum.. there is a phaeton sub group.
