I'm looking for a new desk...anyone have an office furniture place recommendation?

Ikea or craigslist free section

pros about ikea is that it looks good and is cheap
cons is that they break easily and some things are quite fragile..

WTF?

I like Ikea stuff but they're quite limited when it comes to desks. Plus most of them are too small...I have a pretty big desk right now and want something similar in size.

craigslist I recently pick up a really nice L shape desk. It much better than what Ikkea sells for 1/3 of the price too. Looks brand new.

I saw a very nice, glass, L shaped desk at jysk for 100ish dollars, I want to pick it up for when I move

I got my office furniture from Staples.

In comparison, the prices were cheaper than Office Depot, at least for the same style/size that I was looking for.

The chair I got is comfy as hell and was only $99.99 iirc.

To the ppl suggesting craigslist, he already has a desk... he wants a nice, new one. not some free p.o.s

That's a little excessive.

I don't want an L shape...just one large desk. No glass either...need something substantial for monitor arms.

Also too small. My current desk is about 6' x 2.5' so I'll want something similar in size.

Price? What hotbaby suggested is too much. Uh...let's try to stay near $500.
