| Where to buy peacoats?
preferably under $100 but i can go over it but not too over.
doesnt have to be fancy, just has to be decent looking one.
(would be nice if you guys can post pics)
the cheaper the better. i went to thrift stores already btw.
i need it for a english play/project before december starts.
are there any facebook shops that sells them?
if anyone has a used one in decent condition please pm me price and pics
thanks if help is possible

Try H&M or Old Navy. I believe Old Navy has them for around $60?? Also try International Clothes.

Check out local military/army/navy supply shops as well, they should have some real peacoats.

If price is a factor you can head over to H&M or Old Navy, you can easily find one under 100. Want some more fancy, check out Zara or local Winners.

Someone posts about peacoats every winter. Locally, I'd say Gap, Old Navy and maybe Banana Republic. I a Kenneth Cole one at Macy's a number of years back. Was just over $100 because they were having a sale.

This is for a play, I highly doubt he needs a fancy one.

buying something for a play/costume and never wearing again?
there's a reason the prices are so low on those items.

+1 for old navy, I'm loving these undershirts I bought that were 2 for $12 and with the 30% off if you give them your e-mail it was a ridiculously good deal. Their quality is actually really good same with gap. Gap is a little pricey when they aren't on sale though.

Anyone know anything about the Club Monaco peacoats? (Quality/fit, etc) I've looked at BR, Old Navy and J.Crew peacoats but they seem a little too boxy for my taste. I like the style of the Ralph Lauren one but a bit too pricey for me.

I've owned many items from CM over the years and the craftsmanship and materials are pretty good. I would say that their clothing is even a cut above Banana Republic, but it's not in the same tier as designer brands. You should also know that CM is owned by Ralph Lauren.
Although their clothing often caters to the skinny-caffeine-smoking crowd, I find that their mediums still fit my shoulders and chest fairly well (I have a 40-41" chest size) Their cut is generally slimmer than say the Gap or Old Navy.

You may have just convinced me on going for the CM one, unless I find better deals with Black Friday coming up.

The banana republic peacoat had obviously a better design and more detail and features. However I kept the old nevy one because it was simply thicker thus warmer. the old navy peacoat design isn't bad.. gap and old navy are the same company btw. You can literally find find the exact same clothes with different tags. Old navy is cheaper for sure. Posted via RS Mobile |

I bought this one last week http://www.amazon.com/BGSD-Mens-Wool-Blend-Coat/dp/B001MKOKH6/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1290643355&sr=8-5
Had it shipped to hagens of blaine and picked it up when I went for christmas shopping.. Its very warm and the material is very good, 80% wool.. better then that old navy crap.. really good price too. looks very nice, lots of compliments
