Cheap iphone headphone replacements

Hey just curious if anyone would know a cheap iphone headphone replacement...I would like something in-ear, and has the little mic/controller on the cord. I really don't feel like paying 45 bucks at apple to get their set, which isn't that great of quality either.

cheap = bad quality, bad sound.

Logitech has some good earphones, since they bought ultimate ears, but those are pricey.

If you don't care about sound that much, get a pair of skullcady's. The FMJ iphone model has the inline mic and button. The best part is the lifetime warranty. They have replaced my busted up ones no questions asked.

I just bought a pair of these last weeks still waiting for it to be shipped http://www.meelec.com/ProductDetails...E&Show=ExtInfo It was $17.99 last week for the first 50 ppl who ordered it but shipping was $7. The reviews for it r pretty decent.

^I'd have to second that site. From what I've heard they make great quality ear phones for a really good price. Check out the M9 which is one of the better earphones you can get for that low price.

I was considering either the M6 or VisangR03, but got the Visang instead but the m6 is still a really good pair of earphones.

Yeah, and according to RFD for today (don't know at what hour it expires) you can get 30% off using the code ANDROID_POLICE as long as you ordered one of their sets with a built in mic.

I verified that it is still working as of 2:55pm

meelec is good for the price. They always have promo's. I hope you also realize that almost anything is better than the oem apple in ear headphones.

If you want a in-ear bud with apple mic/3 button remote, you don't have much choice.

I personally would recommend the scorches:

http://store.apple.com/ca/product/H0...Mzk&s=topRated

The sound quality is amazing for the price. I tried them back to back with a couple of other in-ears and it sounds MUCH better than the stock iphone buds. In fact, I personally feel they sound better than the popular $120+ S4i as they had better bass and just the right amount of highs.

The quality of the cable at the 3.5mm end is questionable thou, but for $39 you would not feel the pinch if you have to replace them every 1-2 years.

Here is another option for you, this one is new from Plantronics, but again it's not cheap ($49)

One of the cheap skull candy ones have a headphone, they're not bad and much better than the apple ones.

Check out V-moda on ebay, there is one store in LA that is selling them for amazing prices. I bought a pair of the vibe duos, they're alright, better quality than iphone but I think the mic button is iffy. Get the nicer remix? I think it's called... they sell it at the apple store about $100, i think they're around $30 on ebay.

Off topic but I just got some beat studio noise cancelling headphones for my birthday. Is there anyway to listen to music without the noise cancelling? I think it feels weird :/

Yup, and I believe it's only around $30~ online right now. Not quite as good as the S4i, but you're looking at another $70 for that.

Haven't heard these in person, but reviews on Head-Fi tell me that they're great bang for your buck, especially if you're getting them at $25. Seems similar in design to Shure's SE530, and the fit on them was perfect, for me anyways.

I know you said you don't want to spend more than $45 but I will tell you know, find a pair you might like, try it out, and if you really like it, make the investment! With cheap earphones, you're going to be breaking them left and right so why not just buy a decent pair maybe $100 or less and have them last for a couple years? My s4's lasted me for over a year and they were great in terms of sound, etc. I recently bought the Tour with extended warranty so it should last me for at least 1 year. If you still wanna buy cheap earphones you might wanna try looking at:http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/...01-added-01-17
