Waiting for Delivery and CN worker not working?? I am waiting my C300 4Matic to be delivered and the dealer is saying - the car is here in Vancouver (since Friday) - CN Thornton Yard and workers not working because of the cold weather... This does not make any sense to me, can I trust this this excuse? |
ive seen CN delivery trucks (they have them) around moving stuff from Yards to wherever people are working at the BNSF yard can't imagine CN not working |
the railways are working, i got cut off by 2 trains tonight |
The workers are hooning your car in the snow. |
Did you buy your car from Anthony Espinosa by any chance Posted via RS Mobile |
working for CN, YES the trains are running. Trains run no matter what. |

The cars were in the yard the other day no longer thier now. |
I don't care if sales rev go crazy on my new car or not, better than waiting with this weather condition. - because I sold my set of winter tires already.. :( But I hope nothing like that happens tomorrow.. |

I work for CN... we don't stop for nothing. And PS. Unless you're a tornado, the train always wins... so stay the fuck out of our way! |
^ depends on the size of the tornado ;) |
now sales person is saying my car will be unloaded 4:00 p.m. today that might not give him enough time to go pick it up... in that case I have to wait until Monday.. total BS!!!!!!:bullshit: |
^ he just wants your new car for the weekend. |
^ IMO you can trust the dealer. The sales guy has better things to do. Your car is probably the 50th he's driven already. They want their money too, so it's not in their best interest to stall. Besides, having to wait makes you appreciate the car more. I know it did for me. :) |
A luxury car dealer will do almost anything to keep your business, their reputation is important to them and they a very demanding clientele. Communicate your displeasure with their service to them and mention that some free swag might improve your experience with their dealership, increasing the likelihood that you would return. I would wait an extra week for a few golf shirts and a travel mug, if it were from Mercedes. |

Wow, talk about impatient. I love the "salesguy just wants to rip on your car" comment. As a salesguy, trust me... after you've driven the same thing a handful of times it becomes old. And most salespeople are not car enthusiests who would even really bother to want to drive the car hard. And if you crash a new C300, you can bet you'll loose your job. Not something they would want to risk. If you're really worried about it, do what my friend did with his STI. He said there can not be more than 5KM on the car, and the car can not be washed (didn't want it scratched) or he would not take delivery. The dealership did exactly as he asked (although it's Subaru Kelowna who is known to be one of the best subie dealers around). They even went as far as to park it inside for a week until he had a chance to make it out there from Vancouver. |
