If the car is really clean and rare as you say, get a collectors plate and keep the car. Since the production number is really low, it qualifies http://www.icbc.com/registration-lic...ector-vehicles

If you are really serious about the value of the car, get an "Agreed Value" insurance with ICBC. It costs the same as any collector's insurance, you just need extra paperwork so if the car gets written off, you get a the "agreed value" back.
