Yeah controller is much easier than wheel if your not used to it.. But i can own most people on controllers with my wheel.. You just need the feel for the game.

i have grew huge reliant on my G25 since GT4, but i find it so slow to counter steer on rally.. where i feel like the 900 degrees is hurting me..when i am changing steering inputs faster...

lol.. actually i find controller almost impossible to play when i race against my friends in 2 player mode.. since everyone who comes to my house just want to use my set up =.=

Yeah all my friends try the wheel.. I have a full bucket seat setup.. Then sit down I set them up with a decent speed car on High speed run and let them play after a few corners and force feed back later they give up and want to race me with the controller... Where they then just peel out becuase they want to use the buttons and not the right analog stick to throttle control...

My favorite is when I play in the snow and try to do a hairpin slide with a awd and when I counter steer u can feel the wheel just dig into the snow and slide forward...

I am using the Obutto Ozone cockpit right now...their warehouse is near seattle, so I just drove down and picked it up in my 240, and saved me like $100+ on intl' shippin and handeling...

http://www.obutto.com/products.html

this is the email that i dug up in my Gamil, my experience with them has been great

Hey Jacky,

So sorry for the delay. Please contact Zach at the below to arrange picking up a cockpit.........price is US$185 including the G25 shifter.

Zach
zachechols@yahoo.com
(425)2541610
(425)4427598

Let me know if you have any problems.

Best regards,
Chris
and no tax

Sounds good Jacky. And the $185 is out the door - no tax. Just send me your address and phone number for the invoice. I'll have it all printed out for you so you have no problems with the custom check.

I have these at my house. So that is where you'll be picking it up. I'm not going anywhere, so anytime between the 12th and 17th is fine by me. Just give me a rough time as the day gets closer so I can be sure to be home.

It's pretty easy to get to my house; about 15 minutes from Seattle. You can do google maps, but if no luck, I can give you specific directions. Also, my home phone is 425-254-1610; cell 425-442-7598. So if you get lost or anything, just give me a buzz and I'll point you the right way.

Just keep me updated and I'll have it ready to go for you.

Thanks,
Zach
so the $185USD pretty much came with
metal tubing + a no name reline-able bucket seat with rails...
here again is how the obutto look:

if you want to get creative....
my friend took his old 240SX driver seat...and hit up the metal workshop back in his highschool...and the teacher pretty muched made him the cockpit cage using my obutto design for like $50 worth of materials...

PM me if you want more info on the cockpit

I'm new to the GT5 series, and I want to learn how I should start tuning a car, besides just slapping on upgrades.

^Were you racing on a "max 300hp" server last night around 3am in an EK? I seem to recognize the name.
