Fashion: clothing products/import & export

Hello, im asking this for my gf.

she has been looking for a job for the past year and doesnt have much luck with it.

She used to work in Asia that manufactures snow jacket/pants (686, FourSquare, K2) some top of the line brands. She was working as an import/export department as quality control.

She quit the job and came back to vancouver to further his carrer oppurtunity but doesnt really know where/how to find the position.

what are her options? she has been looking around many job posting website such as Monster, Canada Gov't site...etc.

Applied companies like Lululemon and something else but has never heard anything from them.

It would be appreciate if anyone could give us some pointer on where to find a fashion related job in Vancouver? NO Retail please

she is currently working at retail as an assistant manager for now but would perfer working in the head office doing bigger task. She is been pretty stressful the past year so i wish i could really help her out and find something more stable

tell her to go back to asia to work or go to toronto.

ANYTHING fashion related in vancouver is a lost cause. She'll more likely to hinder her career than advance it if she plans on staying in vancouver for fashion.
