I remember seeing this car in downtown a couple months back and gave the guy a thumbs up. Expected it to put out alot of power, but not THIS much power...holy fuck

Didn't that Supra belong to some guy named Jason who used to post on RS.

I remember him having major problems trying to get it tuned properly. I wonder if he is still the owner or if this is a different Supra.

It hasnt gone through that many motors.

Car has had a long history of changing set ups for more and more power... went from hks 2835's, 3037's, gt3076R's, and now the current set up.

I guess people automatically assume its been blowing motors seeing as the set up is constantly evolving.

wait, I thought RG is using mustang dyno or something... so wouldn't this car be around 1300-1400rwhp at full potential ????

Before the car was brought to us around 2 years ago it did have some engine issues. The build that was done at our shop has been going strong. I don't think There was 6 or 7 engines before this one I think it may have been 2.

Yes we have a mustang dyno which reads 15% lower then a dynojet. On a dynojet it would make around 1300rwhp. That would make it the most powerfull supra in canada. The owner tried to take it to some local dynojets but one shop was closed and the other dyno was broken.

That's just the way that our dyno reads horse power. Any car with manual transmission will show 25% off the crank horse power.

Interesting. I thought 25% was on the higher end for loss through the drivetrain.

Oh well, that number doesn't matter. The WHP does.
