soundbars

ok so im in the market for a decent little sound system for my bedroom. my ideal price range is $350-$400. i dont know if i should just buy a home theater in a box or buy one of these soundbars. i like the soundbar idea, because it just takes up much less space and it seems like the speakers should be loud enough for my bedroom. this is one that i was thinking of picking up, http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...d6f3d5f3b2en02

What are you going to use it for? Games, movies, music?

i have a samsung soundbar (forget the model and its not the one on FS's site)... bought it a year ago or so to replace an 2 year old sony home theater in a box system.

I quite like it. it's nothing crazy loud or anything but for watching movies and tv it does MUCH better then the built-in speakers and its size is extremely convenient!

I'd buy another one

Hit up Usedvancouver or Craigslist and buy a pair of used Bookshelf speakers and a cheap receiver, you'll get similiar or better sound for cheaper.
