What else do we have? We have the best jiggly puffs culture in all of Canada fo sho!

Also the Asian influence here is a lot stronger than anywhere Eastwards. Remember 5 years ago you drive a car and you yield to pedestrians? Now pedestrians yield to you here - regardless of their ethnicity! It's uncanny. Only true to the West of Surrey, of course.

You can't mention West Coast without mentioning our hilarious grow-op operators...With guard bears.

We also have cheap Asian food. Oh yeaaaah your late night Alexandra Rd food run is not to be taken for granted. So cherish it.

The flatness of the prairies is useless - that just means the closest ski resort is 4+ hours away. You have all the adversaries of having snow 8 months a year and none of the benefits. Eff that.

I'm in Winnipeg right now everything but clubs shut down at 9. Even fast food joints....omg.

I don't know how you can explain this in a few words. But the ability for Vancouver to keep around a lot of greenery while still expanding the city.

Heh, I'm not saying the pancake provinces are pretty; I merely meant that there's something about how flat they are that makes it look neat. True, it gets old very fast, but it's something we don't see here in BC so it's a novelty for us. lol

Well, if you're fried/stoned and you stare at the wheat fields for a long time, you start to see some really weird/fine stuff.

i've never lived in another Canadian city...how is the symbolism for the aboriginals back East? I see a lot of association with the haida (sp?) symbols here in vancouver (ie. Police cruiser decals..olympics...ubc..etc)..similiar deal there? Don't they have what's originally the Irequois population there (sp?)

Speaking of pancakes, I once dated a girl who was as flat as a pancake and she was far, far from boring. I couldn't keep up (pun intended). Wild is putting it mild.

The fact that we're not very "Canadian"

When I was travelling around I found more in common with Americans in the West Coast than people from Toronto/East coast.
