bcit parking safer now?

attending classes in feb and was wondering if it is safe to park at bcit.

i been reading the old threads and it seems like bcit has alot of car theft.
i will be driving my vintage mustang and will be taking trades.

any tips for where to park? safest place to park?i will be attending class in the morning till around 3-4pm.

dont think i will be taking transit since it takes me over an hour to bus and about half hour to drive to bcit

I was there in April, June, and July and my car was safe parked behind SE1.

I park around NE24 (trades area), and my car hasn't been touched once even though the Yellow Lot is very close to Canada Way. I think they've stepped up patrols.

Yeah just avoid the big gravel lot by the icbc place and youll be good. I had my jdm honda badge stolen from therre so I've been parking in the main lot since and haven't had any problems.

Just stick to the main lots and you'll be fine. Don't forget to arrive early as parking fills up super fast.

^ +1. Less of a pain in the ass since you're not carrying any change.

I remember back in the day before they changed the parking ticket machines - and people used to pay for tickets with unactivated Credit Cards.... I didn't drive to school back then though...

didnt get in till sept. anyone know how safe is parking A?

have class at 6:30 in the morning so getting a spot shouldn't be a problem.
i did see some Persians snooping around a benz the other day i went to take a entrance test.

which lot is the safest?

any help for a freshman would be great

will be doing the epass or semester pass. whatever they have

It's a 16-week max e-pass. I park in A-lot on a daily basis, and it's safe, patrols are pretty active, and I barely see any sketchy people around. You won't have ANY problems getting a spot that early as well, I showed up at school for 6:30 due to the welding component of my program.

You also get the spots closest to the walkways, so you can box your car into the corner.
