nothing big enough to eat in Davis. It is a fun lake to relax in a small boat and drink. No motors are allowed in Davis |
first time taking my truck off roading today, 2002 tacoma trd 3.4L 4x4 went up a forestry road just before squamish today (right after the chieft)...probably went a good 10kms way up and up into the mountain...4lo and even locker a couple times was used...hell of alot of fun, couple climbs atleast 30+ degrees of rocks great view the whole way up, and the truck did amzing i've got blown rear shocks and well known soft toyota leafs....just waiting to get a full OME 3" lift |

That's the manquam fsr, I was up there today too. Tried making it to norton lake sorta, we hit maybe a foot or more of snow before we turned back Posted via RS Mobile |
wasn't there some trees blocking the road? my buddy who was leading said there were a couple trees blocking the road? maybe he just wanted to turn around lol |
Just wondering if any of you guys know anyone whos look buying some all terrain tires? I have a set of 5 brand new, never mounted BFGoodrich TA KOs for sale. They are 285/75/16 and have a E rated load rating. Good set of all terrains for someone looking for a more rugged/off-roading tire. Looking to sell as a set of 5; 4 + 1 spare Looking to sell for $1350. Bought from the states not including taxes. Just looking to get my money back. |
those are the exact tires i'm running size/rating and everything....did great on the weekend |

ya it's the first turn off right after the chief....gravel road then it hits a fork, we went left and climed up the mountain....if you go right there's a sign that says you can go in 10kms but the bridge has been taken out |
Ahh I see, pretty sure that's the stawamus/Indian fsr off the mamquam fsr, we actually went right at the fork, we went past 10km I'm pretty sure in 2wd the whole time. That's where the snow was haha Posted via RS Mobile |
Oops |
wow really? we climbed up pretty high and never saw any snow |
Yeah I was up higher too on other trails in the area and there was no snow. Maybe there's lots of shade on that part of the trail, I wish I was on a real computer so I could post a pic, it was pretty neat haha Posted via RS Mobile |
this fsr u guys speak of....how's the drive??? i was wondering if a stock Mark LT be able to go up there no problem? |
Its easy if you don't take the roads that branch off the branches of the main fsr. Hope that made sense haha Posted via RS Mobile |

There's a sweet spot that's sorta tucked away next to skookum creek, would be a good place to check out if you're brining a lady friend hint hint wink wink hahah Posted via RS Mobile |
Went up to eagle ridge with gab today, jeep rubicons make it look GOOD hahah. 4.70 gears and locked front and rear, no clearance = no problem! Posted via RS Mobile |
got pics? is it tight in the trees? rock crawling? my taco make it no problem? i'm in coquitlam and want to try some closer places |
Ummm my truck is on 33's and locked in the rear and less than 2" of lift, I made it through the first 2 tricky parts but we turned back after that. So yeah, I'm not sure if your taco would make it as I'm not sure what sorta rig would do or how much harder it gets past where we went. Mostly rock crawling, locked is a must and a spotter really helps for sure haha. When are you thinking of heading up? Mind if I tag along? I'd like to take another wack at it Posted via RS Mobile |
i don't wanna do rock crawling yet....just forest road type stuff |
I flopped the first time at eagle lol stupid gravity http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/660...e23rd20044.jpg |
