| Where can I buy japanese green tea?
I'm looking to find some japanese green tea as a gift. I'm no tea expert so I have no idea what kind I'm looking for, but something good for someone who really likes green tea.

There's this little asian dried food market (sauces, noodles, chips, snacks etc.) at Lansdowne.
They are located near Langley Market.
They've got real japanese matcha powder for cheap. ~$6 i think?
Not quite what you'd call a serious gift.
Tea shop I go to Shaktea @ 21st and Main has japanese teas.

T&T has a few choices as well. I love the one with mountains on it and its brown rice and matcha green tea...sooo good!
Also there is a newer place in Metrotown called Teaopia they have many different types of green tea and you can sample some of them too

The kirkland brand greentea? That's alright.
But I agree with alwayssideways, the brown rice tea is awesome. Flavour rocks.
