original post looks wrong without the mass group of fails :( |
HAHA i bet this thread was one of the drivers for the fail button removal |
we should make stacy777 thread a legend b/c it removed the fail button feature |
i like how OP tried to redeem himself by posting that he got his money back. Fool + Money = Fool with money. |

1. You should have had your receipt (obvious). Like everyone else said, anyone who has done retail before, would not appreciate it. 2. Having said that ^, SHITTY management and customer service. The problem I have is that they CANNOT take the item away from you, if you walked in with it ( even if a person did steal it). That is theft on their part. Why? Because they cannot prove that you stole (not saying you did) it from them. If that happens, call the police, and I can guarantee that they have to give it back to you. Countless times, I have arrested people for stealing, and they ripped off about 4 different stores in the mall. Upon searching them, they had brand new items, all tagged, no reciept, no money, and admitted that they stole from the whole mall. Cops attend and say, "too bad, you have to give it back to them. You didn't see the theft, its theirs. You can only have your own store stuff back." The theft prevention is done before the item leaves the store. If they didnt see it too bad. The right move for the management was to say, "Sorry, you dont have a receipt.", And get your face on camera. Thats about all they CAN do. Hell, there are so many people that find receipts, walk into a store, go to the shelf, find the item on the receipt, and go straight to the customer service desk and ask for a refund. Its the price of opening a retail store. They have to take the loss. And plus, store shrink comes off managment bonuses at the end of the year....Go figure. PS. Glad it all worked out for you. |
