did anyone really expect a whitewashed Death Note to be any good?

Almost done Ozark, actually pretty good.

The Mist (series) - Not bad so far. 3 episodes in. Some pleasant gore that I wasn't expecting. It could blossom into something good. Characters are between meh and decent and are enough for me to continue.

I couldn't even watch the death note preview longer than 10 seconds, let alone the movie!

Started Ozark last night, liking it so far.

Couldn't get passed a couple episodes of The Defenders, might just have to force myself into watching it hoping it gets better.

It gets a lot better.

I saw the movie, and thought it was typical Stephen King fare.
Spoiler!

We're about 2/3 the way through. The series has a lot of interesting sub-plots going for it, and there have been some good twists.

Shameless is very good. If you are looking for a tv show with a lot of seasons to watch, I recommend shameless.

I finished it up the other night. Not bad. Loved the movie from 2007 so it's hard to compare to that. I think they can make a few seasons out of it. Nice concept, decent characters. Side story stuff adds a drama element to it so it's not just about the event. Characters pasts play into the way they react to certain situations so that should keep it going for a bit. I had it going in the direction of "Under The Dome" (which was garbage) about half way through but it pulled itself together with gore and some twists so the entertainment value is there for sure without being too cheesy.

i kept watching, hoping for things to pickup. but literally everything was just off about it. the characters don't translate well at all, to the point where it's pretty cringey.

interesting to see how Narcos does post Escobar

I didn't think last season was that good, at least compared to the first season.

I binged out on Narcos S2, I agree it wasn't as good as the first season, Escobar was a legend. If they make a season 3 on Mexico, it's going to be even crazier than the first season.

I'm on season 5 of shameless. Pretty good. Usually I get bored of a series after 3 seasons.

I loved the first two seasons of Narcos, but within 15 mins of the first episode of season 3 I kinda zoned out and lost interest :/

maybe if I have time and nothing else to do I'll give it a try again. lol

Ozarks was good, good quality show all around

problem i see with it now is its going to turn into a continuous cycle of shit storms like Sons of Anarchy where you finally get over one problem and 3 more fall into your lap, it's already happening in this first season

kinda...but it's paced nicely enough over the course of the season and leaves just enough problems to start the next season with.

reminds me more of Breaking Bad

Spoiler!
