Spotted: 5spd Z4 Forgot to pull e-brake.

This guy was at the parking lot below Superstore in Richmond.

I wasn't sure whether I should have pushed it back into the stall or pushed it further out to block traffic, . The owner came back 3 mins later and drove off.

Edit: Oh, I realized this could go in the HoS thread...but whatever.

You should have let it roll into your car.

Reminds me of the time this stupid blonde chick forgot to pull her ebrake ( and lock her doors) and she parked her car on the side of the street and my street has a curve and is downhill so her car picked up speed and curved towards my garage, luckily my dad was watering the garden so he quickly jumped in the car and pulled the ebrake up and then he went and bitched at the stupid retard.

Should've jumped in front of the car instead

Could be a loose e-brake cable. Heard about several cars rolling back due it not being properly tensioned.

I usually pull my e-brake, but I just replaced it since it seized and got messed up when the first REALLY cold weather came (heating it by driving didn't work). I only use it when I don't park at home.

+1

On a side note, because I always park in gear, I have had at least 2 friends who stalled my car right on the spot, thinking I parked in neutral.

+1... I also make sure the pressure (if on a hill) rests on the handbrake and not the Park pin itself, because I heard that the pin is only as thick as a sharpie
