Was Arkham Asylum that good? I see it for sale all the time but can't bring myself to buy it.

I just finished Assassin's Creed 2 and Uncharted 2. How does it stack?

...I guess it's a bit unfair to put it up against Uncharted 2 since it was basically universally critiqued as one of the best games of all time...but still.

Go pick up AA, its seriously good

the pacing on that game is amazing, first play through i didnt realize i was playing it for 3 hour straight already

the game is more splinter cell than assassins creed.. the hand to hand combat is very simplistic

AA was fun. I was always using detective mode and missed out on all the beautiful detailing of the environment :(

Arkham Asylum is actually on sale on Steam for $7.50 for the GOTY version.

Seriously pick it up if you're a PC gamer.

Yup, Christopher Nolan is working on a third one as we speak. It'll be his last Batman film to complete the trilogy and it's apparently going to feature old unused clips of Heath Ledger's Joker, as well as possible CGI scenes of him.

i preordered this during that E3 sale

but now i noticed there's a collectors edition that comes with a batman statue and a blu-ray DCU movie included (+ artbook etc) :/ want to pick it up instead

anyone else excited this is out in a week? :)

i finally got around ordering the collector @ FS since it came with the steelbox~ was holding to see if there's any sales other than the 5bux off @ bestbuy for the ce version.. guess the 10% thanksgiving sale don't apply to it ~ so i guess i'll spend 5bux more for a steelbox

edit2: the Rear of the steelbook has a different character (there's many versions) in the UK at least, there's 2 catwoman versions; a joker, two face, Penguin, etc? so wonder what the futureshop one is

AA was one of the most polished games i've played in recent years..
