If you don't know what ip man, its based on a true story about a man taht was incharge of a village than it was invaded by the Japanese than he moved on and taught traditional kung fu and challenged a famous russian boxer .

Not a russian boxer, it was an English boxer.

It was a good movie.

First IP man - Japanese Occupation of China, Kung-fu vs Karate - 8.5/10

Ip Man 2 - Goes to Hong Kong - English Boxer Vs Kung-fu - 6.5/10

yea the second movie is too typical. the same old story about white people abusing the chinese and so on and so forth. You would like the first movie more. Although not historically correct, the story's much better.

2nd movie sucked ass in my opinion.
Even the fight scenes were garbage in comparison to the first.

What the hell was with all the "floating around with obvious wire" crap.
And the fight with sammo hung was retarded when they were just slapping each others
wrists like

I mean it reminded me of DBZ when they just repeat the same actions for 10 seconds,
thinking it's fooling anyone that they are fighting, but just too lazy to do any detailed fighting choreography.
Maybe they were trying to demonstrate awesome "sticky hand", but it just didn't work for me.

First movie was awesome though.
