holy shit...This really got to me...I aint even gonna read incoming text messages from now on when I am driving.

Jeremy617 12-28-2010 03:17 AM

Neither girl was wearing a seatbelt...

text msgs may have caused the accident, text msgs did not kill them.

Texting still got them into the accident which could still potentially kill someone or someone else for that matter.

Seatbelts aren't 100%

If a video made you realized that you shouldnt be texting and driving, you should really give your head a shake. It's pretty simple, if you take your eyes off the road something is bound to happen.

gloors 12-28-2010 10:19 AM

^ +1 to what he said. Gonna spread this around f'sure

Can't I change the radio station though? Or what about grabbing my big mac on the seat next to me?

Funny thing is, when I was in a car that rolled time slowed down. And I thought to myself, "so this is what it's like to be a rally car driver". And then I got a bunch of dirt in my mouth haha.

texting and driving is more dangerous than talking on the phone.

especially with iphones where you cant feel the keypad, so you really need to look down to do it.

Alby 12-28-2010 10:11 PM

whatever happened to my post along with The_AK

Why not pull over to the side of the road and do all of those? :troll:

jlenko 12-29-2010 10:34 AM

If you're stupid enough to text and drive.. good riddance. You just don't fucking get it.

Please try not to kill my family when you decide to kill yourself in the process. Thank you, drive through.

You lie. Who would want to mate with someone who drives a crapalier. :alone:

Someone who doesn't care about what their social peers and complete strangers think about them. Y'know, the rest of the world that doesn't care about stupid things like "face," etc.

CanadaGoose 12-29-2010 02:20 PM

It really comes down to PAYING ATTENTION. People don't give driving the attention it deserves, it's part of our entire culture...eating, texting, make up, no one gives a shit. How many people would do the same thing driving a forklift or a golf cart at 100km/h? Texting and flying a cessna?

Texting and driving has this stigma attached to it, but any distraction is just as bad.

In North America, we are already the slowest and shittiest drivers in the world, the last thing we need is distractions.

metal 12-29-2010 02:37 PM

I've texted while flying. Albeit just during cruise when it's super dead and severe clear out, just thought I would throw that out there for some people haha
