take it somewhere BEFORE you buy anything.

i'd bet $20 its not the power supply.

nah dude don't get a power supply from big box stores. they'll overcharge for low grade parts. go to NCIX or like memory express for that stuff.
it'll probably be even cheaper to go to them for the repair as opposed to big box stores as well like best buy, futureshop or staples
