When you spend too much on appearances... So... You've won it big play poker, or maybe you finally got that massive raise and promotion you've been vying for. Either way, you're looking for a new house to move into. You start going through MLS and because that site kinda sucks, you come across a house you think looks quite interesting... yet they only show one picture: http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetail...dKey=540092447 http://images.realtor.ca/listing/reb...f1025353_1.jpg Curious, you decide to book an appointment to check it out. You figure... hey, it's only ten years old... the exterior looks quite interesting. It's got to look nice inside! You pull up the driveway and notice the front entrance: http://priceypads.com/wp-content/upl.../Entrance.jpeg Okay, so maybe it needs a bit of landscaping. No big deal. The bonus will deal with that. First impressions inside? Impressive architecture! http://priceypads.com/wp-content/upl...ance-Hall.jpeg What's next? Okay, the kitchen. Eh, it looks a little small for a 44,000 square foot house but a closer inspection reveals a restaurant-grade kitchen hidden behind the first one. Weird, but okay... http://priceypads.com/wp-content/upl...Kitchen-1.jpeg And then... you turn around. And into another dimension. Want to check out the dining room? Okay... http://priceypads.com/wp-content/upl...1/Kitchen.jpeg Yup, that's their dining room furniture. And that living room looks rocking as well. Okay... well, maybe they're getting some furniture redone... or something. Let's check out the rest of the house. Remember, it was built in 2003, so it should be all modern and shit. http://priceypads.com/wp-content/upl.../Bathroom.jpeg Holy shit, this house is a time machine! You walk from the 21st century back into the 1970's! And it's not just the bathroom that somehow managed to be teleported forward over 30 years... http://priceypads.com/wp-content/upl...1/Hot-Tub.jpeg http://priceypads.com/wp-content/upl...e-Theater.jpeg My eyes! Suddenly spending that extra million on that villa up in Whistler is starting to sound pretty good. Oh, for bonus marks... who can tell me what's wrong with this photo? http://priceypads.com/wp-content/upl...etted-Tub.jpeg Moral of the story? Uhm... I'm not entirely sure, but this makes me feel how half of the houses in Richmond must look like inside... :lol jk |

wtfff... this is some really eerie twilight zone shit this has gotta be a prank, there's no one who would have such fuckin weird furnishing in a house like that.. unless it was the butabi brothers on crack. every single pic, i didn't know whether to laugh or cringe oh and if it was built 10 years ago, how the hell did you get 2003???? all the jerking off affecting your math? |
i'd spend MAX mill and a half or 2 mill on this place... considering its in abbotsford i actually quite like the structure, its just the wtf furnishings and other outdated shit that bugs me, but with like a mill in rennovations, i think its an aight place |
1-2 million dollar homes are actually pretty common in Abbotsford. Its obvious why its furnished like that, the owners went bankrupt and can't afford to furnish their home or put the finishing touches on it. Thats hardly a rare event. |
nice house |
Lol sorta reminds me of the creepy pictures of mike tyson's abandoned mansion: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikeadamsphotographer/sets/72157621471165121/ |
