The AMERICAN DREAM is a 30 minute animated film that shows you how you've been scammed by the most basic elements of our government system. All of us Americans strive for the American Dream, and this film shows you why your dream is getting farther and farther away. Do you know how your money is created? Or how banking works? Why did housing prices skyrocket and then plunge? Do you really know what the Federal Reserve System is and how it affects you every single day? THE AMERICAN DREAM takes an entertaining but hard hitting look at how the problems we have today are nothing new, and why leaders throughout our history have warned us and fought against the current type of financial system we have in America today. You will be challenged to investigate some very entrenched and powerful institutions in this nation, and hopefully encouraged to help get our nation back on track.
two words: Robert Kiyosaki. In his books he will not only tell you that, but also tell you how we are educated to ignore the simple rules of money and how to be slaves of these institutions for the remainder of out lives.
There are people and organizations out there that are trying to wake us up (haha, reference to the matrix here almost) but we are too blind and too stupid to understand, because we were never taught this, in any educational system.
p.s. and i bet you this post wont have 240 pages of replies just like the hall of shame thread or jailbait thread, because people cant be bothered to pick up the ax and join in the revolution. the revolution of their own lives.

It's great that people are trying to inform the public about our current realities though in my view, most diligent people already know about things like this because they've done the hard work to learn about their world so they can prosper in it. Mediocre people will continue to live their mediocre lives because they are too lazy and thus stupid (I believe we all have more potential we can ever use, most of us are just too lazy to use it) to do the legwork necessary to figure these things out. Therefore, I believe that for the most part, videos like these are "singing to the choir."
Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad books are worth reading. Hopefully BC schools have will have better financial education courses soon. I believe there is a pilot program starting at a few unnamed schools in the lower mainland.
There are more debts (owed money) in the system then there is actual money circulating in the system. This is one other crucial thing the video could have touched up on... by this way some people are destined to lose out.
Also the inflation and deflation (specially in housing) causes at their whim could have been better highlighted but overall this is one of the better videos for people to get started.
If anyone is interesting in a detailed documentary of this nature, watch the videos of themoneymasters site.
Lastly I would suggest for members here to think about constructing their own motor home before committing to a mortgage. Buying a house at inflated prices and paying over 100k -200k (how many years of work does it take to make that much cash?) in interest at the end is a sure way of agreeing to debt slavery. http://www.airstream.com/products/20...e-gallery.html
Now saving your money and buying a house with cash is the smart thing to do but in this system saving your money wont be as valuable in the long term because of designed inflation. So its best to some how put your assets in your own business or in a foreign country that isnt influenced by the RedShield company. Iran is one example as one can see it was not directly effected by the banking crisis's.
I would not put assets in gold because that commodity is already exploited by the "Red Shield".
The four largest US banks hold assets equivalent to 63% of US GDP.
Don't be a fool and think the problem is limited to our southern neighbors. Luckily Canada does have more regulation, but we're all working for the machine too. It's not like up here we don't have massive credit card debts, car loans, etc either.
(It's fucking genius.)

Canada doesnt choose how much money it can print, infact Canada is a corporation owned by the "Crown" (basically the RedShield and friends).
edit - see here
Incidently, I just read GI Joe; Cobra Reborn. Where the tax man came and took Cobra Commander's -I mean the man he was before he became CC- business, home and life away. So he gathers forces for Cobra and calls himself a patriot.
Cobra Commander, HELP US DESTROY OUR BANKS!

I find this movie more complete. It analyzes the current money situation with examples from modern money mechanics (ex: money multiplier). It talks about politics and economic hit men using past and current examples. It even covers religion. Then best of all it provides some solutions focusing on technology as the #1 way to move forward.
I dont really like videos that tell you something, but dont propose any fixes.
btw the vid's been removed
