Franchinse operations I can see that, but for corporate mcdonalds (which I think the kerrisdale one is, correct me if I'm wrong), a coupon code will suffice offering the discount. And mcdonald is a company that's super customer service driven, they'll give out free food at the slightest complain from a customer. So asking them to honor a coupon from a smartphone for enviromental reasons should be a very easy request for them to fulfill.

But for franchise operations, if the franchisee requires the hard copy of the coupon to retain compensation from mcdonalds head office, then its a different story. In this case the owner is looking out for his own pocket before "customer service"

How you remove vitamin c out of OJ, I've got no idea.

Maybe you should take your own advice before looking stupid.

The coupons can be black and white right?
Cheap with coupons AND coloured ink :fuckyea:

AzNightmare 01-08-2011 04:37 AM

Tricked me... I thought the OJ was free, until you click on the coupon and read the fine print. :fuuuuu:

I'll wait until monday so I can print them at school. Going to go all out on cheaping out, including not using my own printer ink. :D

illicitstylz 01-09-2011 07:34 AM

mcdonalds on russ baker/cessna in richmond wasn't happy with accepting the printed black & white ones.

Euro7r 01-09-2011 07:41 AM

The girl that served my order today was nice enough to not even take my coupon. I can re-use it next time for my breakfast deals

this has to be the worst mcd's in all of richmond. in particular, there's this one bitchy supervisor who's never friendly or smiles. bitch has issues! i guess working at mcd's as an adult for income is one of them :lol

The other employees are fine, but yeah I know which one you're talking about, the one who just throws the food in your face and doesn't say a word to the customer. Yes, that's right, not even a thank you or have a nice day.

Unfortunately its the only one on the way to work...

So are most places willing to accept me just showing them the coupon on my phone without having to give them this whole "I'm a treehugger" speech?
I doubt they need to use it for reconcilliational purposes or else they can actually just print out a shitload from any computer and claim it?

Yea the McDonalds at Royal Center by my office, the cashiers never take my coupons ever, just give them back to me for use another time, this has been going on for the last 7 years.

Likewise I always go to the one at Main and Terminal and half the time they give me the coupon back.

Knight and 57th McDonald's has got to be the worst.

Not really racist! 01-22-2011 03:50 PM

We just throw the coupons away anyways, unless its a franchise owned McDonalds.
