| China to build fake Burj Khalifa, Zhangfei insists it'll be better than the original

Zhangfei believes that everything China touches is gold. Despite this new tower being a fake or an imitation I expect him to say things like "China will learn from the mistakes made by the Burj Khalifa and make a better tower" or similar pro-China jingoistic bullshit.

i used to think china was fail, until i went there. china is not fail. china is raw wild power. everything the west sees in the news or hears about china is all the bad shit, wait till you see the good shit, they're going to stomp the western world soon. and i aint exaggerating, it's scary what they can do.

if china announces that they're going to build something awesome they will; Its a matter of face. They'll throw every bit of money at it every expert (from around the world), grunt at it and every unwilling resident out of the area.
besides if you watch those national geographic shows about the construction of those monstrosities in UAE some chinese experts and many chinese workers were involved

Thing is blueprints for this design already exist so I believe architecture fees are minimal. What it seems to me is that China uses a lot of what already exists and tries to enhance on it, a lot cheaper and safer than being creative, innovative, and original. Just look at Byd.

I guess you can't compare the two as the latter didn't go through a cultural revolution and wiped out a good chunk of its antiques.
