So sad that us Canadians have second rate Super Bowl ads...........
This one is very offensive.............. making fun of retards. Not cool. The guy looks like he has tourette syndrome. I also hate people who have teeth that are obviously fake. Worse than C-Lai's with pads to make their ass look more rounder only to wear it wrong - so wong.

What's with the new IKEA commercial.........
makes total sense. From people who designed those uber retarded shopping carts. Ever try going over a bump with a full load? Designer should be flogged with a veggie dog.
can't find the ad on you tube

if you're ever really bored one summer weekend day and you had to go to Ikea for something anyway, it's pretty amusing to grab an ice cream and hotdog at Ikea Richmond and just sit on a bench near the loading area and watch all the tiny asian women try to control those carts over sloped surfaces/bumps the way all the wheels rotate.
It's honestly super entertaining. At least for as long as it takes to eat an ice cream and hot dog anyway.

So nice to see, "Hinterland. Who's Who," commercials again. Originally produced by the National Film Board (NFB) and Environment Canada Wildlife Service. Now sponsored by Canadian Wildlife Federation. The opening soundtrack. So recognizable. My ears perk up each time I hear it.

yeah fuck TD. they just increased the minimum balance to 6k if you want their all inclusive chequing to be "free"
I bounced from royal bank to TD for their aeroplan credit card (the $599 one) because you get a 180 bucks off the credit card if you hold a TD account.
The bank kinda sucks. I miss my elitist HSBC. This peasant bank is full of stinking pesants.

man... i'm just saying... in a certain other country that won't be named, the banks give you an alternate option, which is to maintain a minimum [marginally higher] balance as a total across the accounts you hold with them. including savings and investment.
then you don't have to keep watching your checking account wondering if it accidentally dipped below for a day. raaaaage!!
edit: Hobz what's the advantage of the Privilege version of the Aeroplan card that it's worth the additional annual fee?

you get more aeroplan points on daily spend/air canada spend, and you get to carry over your e upgrades for an additional year on top of other shit like lounge access and free baggage. Also the best feature is that companion pass. Your partner flies the same class as you for 399 to asia, and i think 299 to europe.
You also get bumped up to enterprise presidents club, and some other really good perks like medical insurance up to age of 65 for 30 days.
If you travel a lot, its worth it. i used to use the amex version of the aeroplan elite card (also 599 a year) but because amex wasnt taken everywhere, i gave up and switched to TD visa.

Dunno if this works with TD, but at RBC I just have a personal banker (NOT private banking) that I keep going back to for advice...just quietly ask if he can reimburse you the fee one day especially if you have significant holdings it shouldn't be any skin off their back. It just has to be done manually every few months.
