Watch out for fake iphone 4
 

They have fake versions for a ton of phones out there. Are you living in a cave? Of course you are. You get your news from Apple Daily.

Real iphone4 use + screws too...

You can take out the iphone 4 battery too, I've done it it's actually pretty easy. That fake iPhone interface looks nowhere near as smooth. No appstore and no 3g pretty much defeats the purpose...

the interface of the "sophone" looks so laggy.

If I were to buy ANY used consumer product or a product from a third party service..... always test the item before you buy...

The fake iphones out there are easy to detect as long as you turn the phone on, people can easily tell it's not an iphone. This version however is claimed to be 99% alike, they even copied the IOS. Potential scam can happen if these people try to sell it on ebay or craiglist at original price.

^^^ well if you're selling on ebay you can always get away with fakes, you dont need to show the OS running in your ebay ad... by the time you get bad reviews you've made your cash and can just open another



i wouldnt mind trying out the N8 clone (uses the same case, but better screen resolution better cpu, and runs on android, shitty gpu and camera though)

Someone is buying "sIphones" in the US and selling them here in Victoria

Siphones have been in the market for quite a few years now. They are dirt cheap... cost around $30-80 depending on specs.

Yeah, I checked one out before. Most pages don't won't work on the Internet, no new apps, and the speed is slower than my old 3G. For $100, you might just want to pay $50-80 more for a used 3G

External is easy to copy, i mean, other than build quality, it's not like we have apple holograms or anything, even packaging...

internals aren't that hard to copy either, but there's a reason China KIRFs are fake.. they're cheap.

I just like the idea of Dual SIM... so much more convenient :D

lol there's been 'water' phones coming out of hk/shenzhen since cell phones existed. as for iphone 4, if you buy one anywhere outside an apple store, it's safe to bet it's fake.

water phones does not mean its a copy/fake phone.
it means the phone(real deal) was bought from market A and sold in market B.

so in other words, water phones = grey market phones.

Uncle bought a fake iphone in china knowing it was a fake.. I think he paid like $50..

Looks soo damn real... Its even funnier becuase were you put the sim card in a real iphone the fake one has the indent for the sim card in the plastic moulding.. But it doesnt pop out.. And the sim goes in the back of the phone once you pop off the battery cover.. software wise it looks exactly like the iphone but lags literally 5 seconds.. So u swipe then it takes 5 seconds for the display to acctually swipe...
